Islands

Scotland has over 900 offshore islands, most of which fall into four main groups: Shetland, Orkney, and the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Fair Isle is the most remote inhabited island in the UK and is nestled between mainland Shetland and the Orkney Islands.  You’ll find whisky distilleries on the islands as well as fantastic whisky bars that make island hopping and exploring as many of these islands as you can well worth it.
