Teuchters Landing

Who would have thought that a former waiting room for the Leith to Aberdeen steamboat ferry would go on to become right little raver of a Leith whisky bar called Teuchters Landing?

It describes itself as s a traditional style freehouse, sits on the shore at Leith, and boasts a large beer garden and pontoon that fill up quickly in summer.

Like older sister Teuchters West End, its bar is a shrine to whisky with a selection of around 90 single malts, 20-odd international and blended whiskies there’s no getting bored here. Then there’s the now famous hoop of destiny as featured on the BBC documentary ‘Scotch! The story of whisky.’  It’s a game of hoopla with malt whisky as the prize by the way.

Once you add an extensive list of largely Scottish cask, keg and bottled beer, a great wine list, soft drinks, gins, rums and much more, what’s not to love.
