That’s not say that all customers are not welcome of course they are, as are all locals. Because of its strong Hebridean influence (it is named after Islay) which has more whisky distilleries than any other island, it has also got a very strong representation of Islay whiskies on the gantry, with plenty more too.
It is a very sociable pub which normally puts on live music five nights a week. You can expect good highland hospitality at The Islay alongside good and tasty traditional pub food.
