The iconic bar, which was built in 1835, has more than 750 whiskies on offer as well as cracking cask ales, proper home-made pies and friendly staff who pride themselves on their ability to find every customer their perfect dram – no wonder people come here from all over the world.

The Murphy family – including dad Brian, his son Frank and daughter Geraldine – have owned the bar for seven years and won this year’s Whisky Bar of the Year accolade and it has won many other awards over the years.

This bar is a whiskey taster’s heaven and a leading spot in Glasgow to explore the distillers’ diverse creations.
